Privacy policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
Message Digest is a personal tool used by one person, its owner, on their own computer and with their own Google account. This policy describes what it does with data.
Google user data it accesses
- Calendars it created (scope
calendar.app.created): creates the "Message Digest" calendar and adds or removes events on it. - Events on the owner's calendars, read-only (scope
calendar.events.readonly): reads the titles and times of events on the day of a proposed event, only to check whether it is already on the calendar.
How the data is used
Calendar data is used only to add the owner's own plans to their own calendar and to avoid duplicates. It is processed on the owner's computer, is not stored beyond what is needed to remember which events were added, and is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold, transferred or shared with anyone. No other person uses this tool.
Limited Use
Message Digest's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the "Message Digest" calendar removes every event the tool created.
